Tata Motors is set to launch the highly awaited Sierra SUV. Tata is bringing back the Sierra name after more than two decades. It will offer petrol, diesel, and electric powertrains. This will be Tata’s second model in the midsize SUV space after the Curvv. The new Sierra is positioned above it and will compete with the Creta, Grand Vitara, and other SUVs.
It features a three-screen setup, including a digital driver display and two infotainment screens. The interior has a black and grey theme and offers a 5-seater layout.

At the Sierra reveal, we noted that the rear seat has good legroom. The seat base is wide and mostly flat, and the floor has only a small central hump. The seatbacks can be reclined, and there is an armrest with cup holders and a 65W USB port for charging devices. Retractable sunblinds are provided on the sides as well.
The Sierra prioritizes comfort and convenience. A panoramic sunroof stretches back to the C-pillar, enhancing cabin airiness. Other features include dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, rear sunshades, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, and Level 2 ADAS. Overall, the Sierra seems to be a practical 5-seater family SUV. However, we will know more at the official launch. This vehicle appears suitable for family use.
