After the OnePlus 13 introduced a shift in design, the company has pushed things further with the new OnePlus 15. It packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the world’s first 1.5K 165 Hz display, and a larger battery. Priced from ₹72,999, the OnePlus 15 clearly aims to compete with today’s top flagship phones.
A Cleaner, Stronger, More Premium Design
The OnePlus 15 brings a completely new design language. Instead of the rounded camera module, it now uses a rectangular frame that holds the cameras and LED flash. The overall look feels more mature and balanced, with the OnePlus logo centered for a cleaner appearance.
The mid-frame uses Micro-Arc Oxidation (MAO) technology — giving it a ceramic-grade coating that’s tougher than aluminium or even titanium. The result is a phone that feels premium, sturdy, and smooth in the hand.
It’s also slightly shorter and more compact than the OnePlus 13, making it easier to use. Despite a big battery, the phone weighs only around 215 g and stays slim at 0.82 cm. The golden-ratio curved corners add both comfort and a refined look. OnePlus also replaced the Alert Slider with a new Essential Key, which you can customise for quick actions.

From the front, the device looks nearly bezel-less, with super-thin 1.15 mm borders — the slimmest ever on a OnePlus phone. With IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, it’s also one of the most durable phones available today.
A Smooth and Stunning Display
The 6.78-inch LTPO ProXDR screen offers a 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. It’s the first smartphone to combine this high refresh rate with a 1.5K display.
Everything feels incredibly smooth — whether you’re scrolling, gaming, or switching apps. Gamers will especially appreciate the 165 Hz refresh rate and 3200 Hz touch response, making every move super responsive. The screen reaches 1800 nits outdoors and can dim to 0.5 nits at night.
With HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, colours look rich and detailed. TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification adds comfort for long viewing. Compared to the Pixel 10’s Actua OLED, the OnePlus 15 feels more responsive and vibrant, especially for fast-paced content.
Smarter Software With AI at the Core
Running OxygenOS 16 (based on Android 16), the OnePlus 15 feels faster, cleaner, and more intelligent. A new feature called Plus Mind lets you save anything on your screen with a quick gesture, and Gemini AI uses that content to help you later.
AI tools like AI Portrait Glow, AI Scan, and AI Recorder make photos, documents, and transcriptions better and more convenient. Features like Parallel Processing 2.0 and a more fluid Predictive Back Gesture also improve day-to-day use.
Performance That Stands Out
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the OnePlus 15 is up to 20% faster and 35% more efficient than the previous generation. Paired with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage, the phone handles multitasking effortlessly.
Its benchmark scores — 3629 (single-core), 10753 (multi-core), and 3,586,011 on Antutu — place it among the top performers right now. Whether you’re editing videos, switching between heavy apps, or browsing, everything feels fast and smooth.
For gaming, the Adreno 840 GPU and the 165 Hz display work beautifully together. Games like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile run at their highest settings without frame drops. The new cooling system with a large vapor chamber keeps temperatures under control even during long sessions.
A Strong Triple-Camera Setup
The OnePlus 15 sports three 50 MP cameras:
- a 50 MP Sony IMX906 main sensor
- a 50 MP ultra-wide lens (116° FoV)
- a 50 MP telephoto with 3.5x optical and up to 7x lossless zoom
Photos look sharp, detailed, and consistent even when zoomed in. It’s a noticeable improvement over the OnePlus 13, with better processing and more clarity.
